1.
The moon guides my way, Lead and steel on the land, Into the depth of the clay, No matter what I stand. Darkness for a pale light, I’m in a dreadful plight, The sword of Damocles, Shall not take my last breath. I’m at the edge of life, Infinity calls my name. I’m at the edge of life, Eternity is now my aim. The dawn of a new day Doesn’t erase mercy and pain. The father buries the son, I think of what I’ve done. Dance of hell begins, Nobody’s getting a win. My blood is running cold, And time is on hold. I’m at the edge of life, Infinity calls my name. Into my den I swear, Thinking about elsewhere, Where the life is a ruby, And the birds are free. Humanity is a lie, The darkest cloud in the sky. Soon the sun turns red, I’ll have dinner with the dead.

Here is the story of a man, Who couldn’t see the light. Running away from his wildest thoughts, He lost himself, no doubt. He thought he could face the darkness, Before drowning into madness. Tears were streaming down his cheeks, Learning to be weak. He didn’t believe it anymore And dreamt of heaven’s door. The body curled up in that hole Failing to self-control. One hour passed, a second then Did that hell have an end? Lightnings stroke loud above his head Nothingness straight ahead He gave his existence a miss, Waiting for the poisoned kiss. A final touch that would have freed him from the gloom, Then he’d have soared between sun and moon. The hope of an inaccessible dream, The brightness through the clouds. He found heat despite the freezing wind, A king in front of his crowd. “Before God be a good man in that world, Your prayers won't be ignored”. These were some illusory words That didn’t bring him any favour. He gave his existence a miss, Waiting for the poisoned kiss. A final touch that would have freed him from the gloom, Then he’d have soared between sun and moon. His wish was by far, The most faraway star. Burning bright, to set his atrophied soul alight. Laws of the Universe are unbreakable, However he was willing to reach the unreachable. He gave his existence a miss, Waiting for the poisoned kiss. A final touch that would have freed him from the gloom, Then he’d have soared between sun and moon.

In his world, there is only one true god, You will learn that it’s the one he chose to serve, The edge of his sword, just what you deserve. Sands of the East are arising, A storm under banners of the Lord. Walls are down, the men are bending, Death is common, you know Saladin. Sands of the East are yelling, A storm devastating the hopes of infidels. Sands of the East as far as the West, Where he goes they kneel under his crest. Carry out with zeal your holy duty. Rewarded you will be, by the Almighty. Don’t run away from your great destiny, Plains fill with pain of your lost enemies. From the West enemies are coming in force, Roaring loud, making the sign of the cross, One last time he stands to free souls of his hands.

Involved in those times, Would I join those poor souls? Lifes turning aside, To the misty high knolls. I behave like a slave, Digging his own grave. Here the end of the line, The Yasukuni Shrine. On my neck a breeze, I stare death on the knees, Pretend not to fear the pain But equal under the rain. Life is now an aim We may reach no more. No more land to tame, Soon untied of our oath. For many years in exile, Now trapped on this isle, With the dread as lifestyle, Consuming since a while. Hide away in the shadow, Outnumbered by the foe, Stifling while whispers spread, For I lay now with the dead. Torn hearts, and torments, Hold men in contempt. Oh my beloved, My days are numbered. Lead and flesh in rock. Red sands of the shore. My hopes are crushed, Now I crumble back to dust. For many years in exile, Now trapped on this isle, With the dread as lifestyle, Consuming since a while. Hide away in the shadow, Outnumbered by the foe, Stifling while whispers spread, For I lay now with the dead.

In Memory 04:34
Indifference towards me, When you are still my star, My feelings are too weak for thee, This contempt wounds me with scars. My heart is now dry, I spent some time to hope, In front of my eyes, My faith with which I cope. My dreams are a murderer, And I am their prey, You are my torturer, My soul feels betrayed. Like a prowler waiting for this weakness, When I’ll be full of doubt, And ravaged by illness. I’ve learnt to lie, to forget our ties, To hide my tears, to erase my fears, I’ve learnt to love, to rise above, Life’s trials, until i drown. I’d give you my life, If I could take place in yours, Each days like a sharped knife, In memory of those golden years, In memory of those golden years.

Screams haunt my sleep, mercy, save me, From myself and the others. Still a part of me that’s torn when I see This appalling slaughter. Though we’re thousands, I feel alone, In my flesh and my bones. Standing up, gazing the horizon, Swamping me with thoughts and tears. Almighty Lord, hear my prayers. Be the witness of our decline, And lead us under the moonshine, Before that we pushed us to the kingdom of damned. Embraced by death wandering on that land. Fleeing a last time from the demons inside my head. Whispering words that no beating heart can understand So tired of living but I’m no longer sure, About what I’m longing to, in this hopeless future. The ground is about to swallow us under a firestorm. The world is dead by a madness in its purest form. Heaven no longer exists for an earthly hell. And bid our family and friends as well, a last farewell. Almighty Lord, hear my prayers. Be the witness of our decline, And lead us under the moonshine, Before that we pushed us to the kingdom of damned. Embraced by death wandering on that land. Between the world and me, a blood fence, Making my soul rolling toward infinite plains. Be the witness of our decline, And lead us under the moonshine, Before that we pushed us to the kingdom of damned. Embraced by death wandering on that land. Between the world and me, a blood fence, Making my soul rolling toward infinite plains.

Disillusion 09:05
The mist is lifting and the first sharped glimmers, Warm up my senses while I walked on embers. The night seemed eternal, Embraced by endless dreams, And unchained of this case of flesh, I was elsewhere. Disillusion, my persecution. Acceptance, I need repentance. The far and misty reflections of my past are blurred, For now I’m silent but I have to find the words. I feel myself on the dark side and nowhere to hide. If only I dare to run away from this endless lie. By the fear of the unknown, Unhealthy doubts are sown. What the hell happened to me? I need to dust my memory. Please, tell me what’s wrong with me, At the end of my reverie. The kingdom of the Dead rejected my soul, By a fire wind coming from below. Docile illusions of an altered mind, Looking for the truth through infinite lights. I was travelling through the universe, Flirted with borders of nothingness Would eternity have shown me the way, To redemption I never deserved anyway? A lie, the future that I had in vision. That could have drawn me out of oblivion. What I dreamt of is a mirage of my hopes. Tormented from all sides I resist in vain. An elusive ghost lost on a muddy trail. I have to release myself from that mind jail Body and soul like a lead spectre, A faceless man in front of the mirror, The worth of life is just a shiver of fever. Fate represents what I’ve always denied, Shapes appear now with the last daylight. Ready to take me there as a last rite.

In Flanders fields the poppies grow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved and now we lie in Flanders fields Loved and were loved and now we lie And now we lie in Flanders fields Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If we break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow. We are the dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved and now we lie in Flanders fields Loved and were loved and now we lie And now we lie in Flanders fields From In Flanders Fields (John McCrae, 1915).
